We wanted to go beyond treating illness. We wanted to make health information easier to understand, help women recognise changes in their bodies, and make it easier to know what to do next.

Dr. Obianuju Ivy Ilonzo, MD, MPH

Meet The Founder

The doctor who chose to go further

Dr. Obianuju Ivy Ilonzo, MD, MPH, is the heart and mind behind Divy Health, where she combines medicine, public health, and technology with a passion for education. She’s on a mission to reshape how people approach proactive healthcare, with a special focus on empowering women to take charge of their health.

Her journey began with a medical degree and a deepening interest in preventive medicine. Seeing firsthand the gaps in healthcare, especially in underserved communities and the neglect of women’s health, pushed her to take action. She didn’t just want to treat illnesses but to address their root causes and transform healthcare, particularly in Africa.

Committed to social justice and health equity, Dr. Ivy has led initiatives to reduce disparities and promote wellness. She is especially passionate about expanding reproductive health education and improving care for the often-misunderstood conditions affecting women. Her dedication led her to host a PCOS webinar that attracted over 200 attendees, underscoring the urgent need for awareness in women’s hormonal health.

Dr. Ivy isn’t just a doctor; she’s a passionate educator, equipping women with the knowledge to advocate for their health, break the cycle of misinformation, and live healthier, fuller lives.
